Burning Giraffe (2021)

In the city centre, two choreographers transform 3 shop windows and stage several confined dancers. What could be more human than the mind to face a daunting situation? The dancers spend three days behind the glass and, just as in a lockdown, invent a new world for themselves. Each window represents the dancer’s subconscious and creative world. A surreal impression of what goes on in the head of an individual whose space is limited.

Due to the sanitary situation and despite a very good protection plan, the performance was moved to the Pavillon Île Rousseau.

Choreography: Marine Besnard & Iona D’Annunzio (Womans Move)

Dancers: Margaux Monetti, Federica Normanno, Pauline Raineri et les danseurs de l’Area Jeune Ballet
